I miss my mum so much she was my best friend, my mentor. I am married to david and we have 3 children Catherine, Liam And Georgina(georgie)my mum was always on hand ready to drop everything at a moments notice to help out, give advice anything we needed. My mum had 5 sisters they are Jean, Georgina, Josephine, Margaret and janet and a big brother Jim who followed february 2008 (R.I.P). My mum and dad were married for 35 years they are soul mates. My mum worked as a carer in an old folks home for as long as i can remember she loved her work but was getting ready to retire in the december to look after my dad.
It's hard to put on paper
All the feelings we have inside
Of a broken hearted family
Who miss you since you died
A place in our lives is empty now
And we are lonely too
But never in a lifetime will there be another you
No last farewells were spoken
You couldnt say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why.

I thanked God for each day we were able to share

Dear mum..
just had to write this and hope you know how much i miss you i need you to know. Life has been really hard since you went away and things don't look like they are going to get any easier in the near future. Dad is needing more operations soon and i dont know maybe i am just being a bit over the top but i have this horrible feeling that things may not be as good for him this time as they have been previously i know i shouldn't worry so much till i have something to worry about but i just can't shake this feeling i have i really wish you were here to reassure me that everything will be fine or at least just to comfort me when this feeling overwhelmes me. i love you mum and hope you know how much i miss you and how hard i am trying to keep everything together for everyone the way you did.
